SG PORTRAIT- MEDIUM USED:  SOFT-PASTEL ON COLOURED PAPER.

On display are portraits drawn from pictures & photographs using soft-pastel or chalk on thick coloured paper. It is done by applying the chalk & blending the colours with fingers to obtain the smooth & 3D effect. The result is very realistic & looks like coloured photograph. It's quite sharp even when it's viewed from a far distance. There are generally 4 standard sizes in A4(21 x 30)cm,A3(30 x 42)cm,A2(42 x 60)cm & A1(60 x 84)cm.

The above prices are for sketching on a plain background . Additional costs will be involved if you require a detailed background to be sketched or your portrait requires intricate details to be sketched such as a uniform, wedding dress or floral arrangement. If you wish to commission this type of portrait, please send a copy of your photograph by e-mail or post in order for us to quote you. 

There is an additional charge for customizing your portrait , e.g. changing your clothing, hairstyle, half-body drawn, full-body drawn, etc.

Please take note that a half-body portrait is not available in A4 size paper whereas a full-body portrait can only be done on A1 size paper. 

There is also an additional 50% charge from the original price if you wish us to draw a colored  portrait from a black & white photograph.

Framing of artworks is not included. However, framing service is optional & available for local customers only. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide framing prices because they are vary depending on your preference. Customers have to come personally for selection & confirmation of framing orders..

All artworks & paintings will be dispatched unframed and rolled in postal tubes.

COMPLETION TIME

The time of completion for this type of portrait normally takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks (excluding delivery time), depending on the artist workload. Express service is available for local customers only. Please call to check rate.

IMPORTANT

1.0 Portrait result is subject to the quality of your photograph. So if you wish to have the best result, try your best to provide us a clear & sharp photograph that shows all the details of your features. The original photograph will be returned to you after the completion of work. 

2.0 To preserved the portrait, it is highly recommended that it is to be framed up together with glass panel as protection as soon as you received the artwork.
